Spreading the word about Raynaud's

February is Raynaud's Awareness Month. The campaign aims to create greater awareness and understanding of the condition and its impact.

February is Raynaud's Awareness Month, the campaign aims to create greater awareness and understanding of the condition and its impact. It’s a common condition that’s thought to affect up to ten million people in the UK. In people with Raynaud's, the small blood vessels in the extremities are over-sensitive to even the slightest changes in temperature, the cold and sometimes stress.

A Raynaud's attack can be painful, it can also make everyday tasks, such as buttoning a jacket, very difficult. Raynaud's symptoms generally affect the fingers and toes, but all extremities can be involved, including the hands, feet, ears and nose. Symptoms of Raynaud's are a colour change in the extremities along with numbness, tingling or pain.

Cosyfeet has a number of products that may be helpful for people with Raynaud’s:

  • Our range of Thermal Socks, many of which feature our exclusive Softhold® technology to encourage good circulation.
  • Our Warm Ribbed Hosiery are all 80 denier so ideal if you feel the cold around your feet and legs. Knitted from Supplex®, they keep you cosy and warm whilst still allowing your skin to breathe.
  • When you’re on the go our Luxury CosyCushion™ Sheepskin Insoles will warm up any footwear.
  • Our collection of Warm-lined Slippers are perfect for cosy nights by the fire.
